Originally from Hillsboro, IL, AJ grew up in suburbs of St. Louis. She was outgoing as a child and loved the attention she got from performing. Some of my best memories are when I would put on plays and dance for friends and family, she recalls.
She was also restless as a young woman. Many people where I grew up in the Midwest didnt even want to leave the state, but I couldnt wait to travel and so I dropped out of high school in my junior year and went to live in Australia for two years. She returned to America when she was 19 years old, finished high school and earned her bachelors degree from the University of Missouri. She then went on to the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where she earned her masters degree. To finance her studies she earned money as an adult model.
When not making movies, AJ enjoys hanging out with friends and cooking. I lived with Chinese and Indian people in Australia and learned a lot about their cuisines. I love cooking and have even dated a few chefs, she says. In general I like guys who know what they want, who are respectful and have something good going for them.
